This one’s a fuckin’ banger. It’s got that bassline vibe but doesn’t get too hyper, keeping things under control with that soulful vocal cut & the drums kicking more garage flavour than 4/4 punch. I’m intrigued by Unknown To The Unknown as well. I was led to believe this label was owned & run by Austin, TX-based Dubbel Dutch but I can’t find any evidence to support that claim, other than the fact that he has contributed to their releases schedule and was wearing one of the label’s Tshirts when he DJ’d here in Aberdeen a few months back when my dudes Bones & Money were supporting, which is a dubious link at best. Long story short, check the video, check the label, and check out Mr Dutch while you’re at it. And no, I didn’t mention Palace once, because I can’t find any fucking info on him/her/them. Some other time then.
